The bridge is made of braided panels of birch and hazel branches!

Saint Lambert bridge
The floor of the Saint Lambert bridge is so narrow that only pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders can cross it! It is said that it was Saint Lambert himself, patron saint of Vresse, who decided this. He wanted to prevent Saint Agatha, the patron saint of Laforêt, from spreading the Christian faith on his territory. And since she only travelled by carriage ...!
